Donating athletic shoes to children

Project Starting Line was founded in August 2024 by four friends and high school student-athletes who saw a need in their community — children without proper athletic shoes for sports and other physical activities. Driven by their passion for helping others and their love of sports, they decided to step up and do something about it. The "sole purpose" of Project Starting Line is to gather donations of gently used and new athletic shoes and distribute them to Title 1 schools and charities that provide basic necessities in Oak Cliff and West Dallas, because every kid deserves a running start.
